You know the first thought that sprung into my head was the Strokes and that was down to the way the chords were pulled. But I was wrong and rather than New York I felt the gravitational pull towards Glasgow instead and Camera Obscura in particular though you could also make a case for Alvvays.
This is indie pop from the old school with a cute vocal and plenty in the arrangements to inspire thoughts of summer and days spent with not an awful lot to do but enjoy ourselves.
Liked it enough to give it a push on Soundcloud, including a playlist add there so really appreciate the opportunity. Fairly minimal arrangements but with a cherubic quality that is made for squeezing. Would go for this over the ‘Never ever’ song that followed in its wake, some departure too so admire your range!
